It’s warmer in Florida, and the palm trees are pretty.
30s and drizzly here. Frank and Kathleen have Envirothon this afternoon. Pat has taken himself off to get his hair cut, using his driver’s license and his bank account.
We have palm trees here, so meh.
I don’t know what the weather is trying to do, but if I had anything that passed for money, I’d probably go shopping for something completely unnecessary, just to cherk me up!
And the list of perishibles destruction goes on...I was going to refill a flour canister and thought the flour smelled off (why my last bread loaf had to be chucked) and found the “Best By” date was this month, but it had already begun to go south last month. So I checked the dates on the other bags in the pantry, and I ended up chucking almost all of it. One bag survived the noose. Now, I guess I’ll have to buy in very small quantities to lessen the weight for the move. Less in the canister means a lighter box to carry.
Disheartening as all get out.
I would have suggested scissors.
Well, OK...I guess I’ll talk to you tomorrow, then...
