It’s a nice thought, the picture from Rocky, but better would be if she didn’t leave her dog outside to bark. People with dogs seem to be rather like people who play musical instruments: they believe they and their noisemaker are in a Cone of Silence.
And that’s enough of me griping for this morning ;-). I’ll go wash up and sort some laundry before I start my prayers.
I don’t mind you griping. Heaven knows, I do enough of it myself. I think mine is driven by the need to have a conversation, but living alone for so long, I’ve pretty much forgotten how. I try to be more aware of it, but sometimes, it just slips.
Rocky is Rocky. She probably doesn’t realize how fragile my sleep is on any given night, so it stands to reason that she isn’t aware that a barking dog robs me of my sanity. But it is what it is. I’ll trade her Barking Harley for a whole new set of sleep disturbances in Cabot. It happens.
