The only thing worse than being in the bathroom with the door closed, hearing a cat spew, is the same situation but with a kid outside the door, instead of a cat. Yeah. Like that.
The wind is up, which means the 29° is much colder, so I won’t be going out for a while. I’m thinking of going to Lin’s, later, for some cornmeal, but I still haven’t written any letters, so maybe they won’t get done today. Maybe they’ll get done tomorrow, after church. I still have a lesson to get caught up on for Sunday School, but I won’t worry about that, just yet.
I don’t remember what I was dreaming but it must have been OK because I didn’t wake up agitated. Which is a good thing, because if I wake up like that, it sets my teeth on edge for the rest of the day.
I’m probably too tired to do anything today, anyway. I’m glad I don’t have to walk to the bus stop, work a full day, then walk back.
We don’t have ice, except on cars and roofs, so Asuncion will be able to come over for practice and Patrick will be able to drive to work. (shudder)
Vlad is lying in front of the gas fire looking rather dead. From this, I deduce that he isn’t over the gripa yet.
