Thanks! The Weather Beeber says you’re at 65, and we may reach that at noon or later.
Shower has been had, so next is making the bed and laying out the church clothes. Then I’ll have a few minutes to sit before I have to get ready for church. Sunday! It helps to feed my soul!
Same!
I would rather have church earlier in the day, but 1:00 p.m. is where we’re at, and God doesn’t make mistakes.
I’ve done my prayers, done laundry, done dishes. Next, I will take a pill for my foot, and then I’m going to sit out on the lawn and write a letter to my friend in Utah.
My clothes are set out, complete with jewelry, but I don’t have any black and white sets with dangly earrings. So I’m wearing red, but the earrings aren’t really dangly. I don’t have a nice blue set, either, and I have some things they would look really great with. However, Cabot is coming, and I can check the thrift stores for that stuff.
I won’t be working on my letter to my friend in North Carolina until I get back from church. I started it yesterday, and if I hadn’t slept in, I could have finished it this morning. But ohwell...it will go out in tomorrow’s mail!
Vlad was just talking about mailing some Magic cards he has sold, and I reminded him that they won’t go out until tomorrow anyway. I put my letter out along with the house payment.
The choir is wearing red and white today. I’ll decide whether to wear red jewelry or white when I change.
Next, I need to make some song pages for next Sunday. We’re going to practice after Mass today.
I’m about as put together as I can get for now. So I’m out the door in about five minutes.
I’ll see you when you are home and have had your napwithjake!
:o])
Good news! The hymn books are back in the pews and all restrictions have been lifted, so it was a packed house today. :o]
Very exciting! My mom said her church is resuming normalcy, too.
We had a guest priest who went on and on, and then we had choir practice. My feet hurt!
“Dat iz da biggest maus I haz ever seed!”
That could be why he’s sitting there.
G’dafternoon! I was just resting my eyes, honest.
Well, where’s da bacons?
Good morning.
Laundry is done, but the shirts are waiting to be hung up. Several things are lined up for today, but not until later.
The bed is made and my face is combed but my head still needs to be cleaned and have some moisturizer put on it.
Both kids were in touch yesterday, which is good. Only the Son called, not the Daughter. We talked about 45 minutes. He’s not going to visit his friend in CA. Seems the cost just to fly to Redding is more than from Little Rock to Vegas RT.
He’s also not going to use the shuttle balance, so I’ve lost that because they don’t refund. AND, he doesn’t want to ride in the BB SUV! Make me cry. He’s going to rent a car, so I guess at that point, I can get the stuff out of the car and get the title ready for the new owner, whoever that is.
I was exhausted yesterday, and didn’t realize it. I knew I was making myself go to church (I’m glad I did because of the announcements) but when I got home, it was all I could do to make it it noon before heading down the hall.
Thinking, of course, that I would get some extra z’s, like in a nap, I was ready to give it up. Then text messages. Almost alseep again and the phone rang. Unngh. But that was OK, too, because.
Life is just one thing after another, isn’t it?
I have a list of foods and stuff to buy for the campout and another list of things to prep. The payoff is that if I work hard for a couple of days, I don’t have to do any cooking at the campsite.
Bill the Son responded to threat of my phoning him and “talking like Grandmama.” He texted that he has plans with his friends for next weekend and won’t be joining us on the trip. “I’ve been in a phase of not answering texts and emails,” said the totally Milennial youth.
We aren’t pressuring any of the young adults to go on these trips - just offering and expecting a yes or no.
Congrats on the laundry!
Good morning. Happy Monday!
The puppy says, “Just one more night in the cone!”
Kitteh says, “Hang in there!”
I’m glad the puppy is nearly through this ordeal.
Works for me!
The shirts are hanging to dry and I did some organizing in the kitchen, but I need another dose of morphine before I can do any more.
If I can just get another 90 minutes in, I'll be a happy person!
Gloriosky!
Good for puppy-dog. She will probably expect it the first night you don’t put it on her. Then you can show it to her and put it away while she’s watching. That way, she’ll know she won’t be wearing it again any time soon.
Trip to Walmart accomplished. They didn’t have the sausage DP wants, so I’ll have to try Food Lion later.
I’m heading to Walgreen’s and the USPS in a bit. I don’t want to. It will mess up my day. But there is tomorrow and I will turn to and have a field day!
I’m cooking chicken for the trip. I guess chopping onion and peppers will be the next thing.
I can get up from a very good meal, drive down the road/street/avenue/boulevard/lane and if I smell chicken cooking, I’m instantly, immediately, intensely, voraciously hungry!
Just back from my 10 minute errand which took almost 40 minutes to complete. Construction between the USPS and Lin’s, a very long line in the USPS, and then a wait again at Walgreen’s. Unngh.
I’ve lost my appetite.
