You wasted a 00 post on THAT?
Kathleen’s riding is going well, and the teenbros will have their in car training April 12, 23, and 14.
Wellnow. Sound sleep or not, here I am.
It seems there is a movie on Amazon Prime concerning the war in Afghanistan called “The Kill Team.” It also seems that my eldest grandson knew all of the guys and served with them on his tour. His mum, my Favorite Daughter, wants me to watch it and give her a review.
Well, I don’t know if my laptop is up to it, and I need a Fire Stick in order to watch it on TV.
Also, it seems the problem I had this morning with uplifting talks is similar to what I had to deal with concerning the library. So I’ll just find the destructions for the security settings and try that before I panic.
But now, I’m curious. I’m going into my second year with this laptop, and I don’t ever recall having similar problems with any other computer. So I’m asking myself, “Why?”
How annoying with all your connectivity issues. You should sleep. I’m hoping to, any minute now.
I did sleep, and only woke up because I was cold and in pain.
Now, however, the bathroom is warming up and I’ll be in taking a hot shower soon. I have an appointment at the pain clinic at 0830, and will pick up a sun screen for the BB SUV on my way.
There was something else I was going to do, but I’ll be darned if I can remember what it was... :o|
What an interesting pattern on that cute little face!
Good morning.
Have you gotten warm since being outside and doing the gardening thing? I’m still waiting.
I need to clean my glasses!
There, much better!
Boys have Envirothon studying to do this morning, building flash cards in some app. If we all work diligently until afternoon, we can go to Your Local Game Store.
I also need to plan Easter Mass using songs we already know.
It was in the 70s yesterday afternoon. I need more mulch to finish the front flowerbeds before all the weeds grow back.
I get it. I forget to clean my glasses, too, and then I forget to wash the little cloths that are so good at it. I finally found a little draw-string bag that something else came in and stick them in that after two or three uses, then pop it in the washer when it’s full.
Saturday starts our General Conference, so the entire weekend will be Christ-oriented. Ten hours, over that weekend, will be talks by different people. It’s always exciting to listen to the various aspects of the Savior as we know Him.
I may take notes on this weekend. I think I’m not as organized as I think I am. I never know where anything is, any more, so I hesitate to take notes because I won’t be able to find them later for reference.
I put all my notes from religious reading or lectures in the same “Book of Dark Magic” that’s my regular journal.
If I had one, I’d misplace it. I can’t even recall the names of the documents I put into the Slave unless they already have a name. Since most are “self-generated,” it’s up to me to name them, and...well...it becomes the Black Hole of Oddities.
And now, I’m going to go take a shower and hope I can warm up.
A hot shower is better than most options. I hope you feel better afterward!
Done! Well, I feel clean, at least. The rest is debatable. I’ll see how the morning develops.
There may be a trip to Walmart in all of this, just because I’m not happy with the sun screen I saw at O’Reilly. I opted for it because it’s just down the street, but I may find a better one at Walmart.
And that would be before my trip to the pain clinic. Unngh.
Yesterday one of my nieces on FB began asking on our family group site about a woman who was my “nanny” before the word came into common usage. Stories were traded back and forth and then someone wanted to know what she looked like.
In looking through my photos (I only recall one of her that was ever in my possession) my long lost SS card fell out from between some B&W photos. This one doesn’t have my middle name on it, and I’m inclined to use it instead of the other. It was missing for three years.
What might your laptop do? If you have no problem with keeping one browser window open it should be OK.
Good morning. Happy Wednesday.
The sun is shining and it was a reasonable 54 out this morning, but we have at least one more bout with cold weather headed our way.
I lost Elen’s Social Security card when I was dotty after hitting my head, but it turned up a couple of years later, after she’d already gotten a replacement.
Elen phoned this morning. Friday is her birthday (23). She is bored, but she has her own room, for now, and is supposed to go to Arizona and do some stuff later this spring.
After the problems I had when Firefox was installed, I’m a little leery about the capabilities of a rebuilt laptop. I don’t want to abuse it, just in case. ;o]
