Hai!
Yeah, it’s a nuisance, but it’s only every five years, so I’ll just get through it.
Almost g’daft, y’all.
The gun of choice for my dad was a 30.06, but the hunting parties I went with never told me what they used. Just that the mama (my friend’s mama) wouldn’t touch a rifle of any kind. I think my Real Brother has my dad’s rifles.
Yes, elk cows are large, and the entire species is beautiful to see. Especially in herds that seem to go on forever.
I do hope you’re feeling better, but I’m still curious about how you broke your leg. If you’d rather not say, it’s OK! ;o]
Elk are big, it’s true.
We’re about to leave for the county Ag Center to look at trees. They have lots!
Good luck and enjoy yourselfs! ;o]
That’s what my husband used.
Moving furniture.
Oh, rats. Should’ve said I fell off a bar stool.
Going to plant one or just window shopping?
LOL! That was good!! I’m still not sure how one can break a leg moving furniture unless one is clumsy, like I am, but I’m sorry you broke it. It can’t be fun being in a cast.
I’ve had my arm in a sling for a dislocated shoulder, and that was bad enough. I’m not sure I could tolerate a cast for long.
Lots with trees?
Collecting specimens for the science team to study. We found some.
Heh.
A while back I broke my shoulder.
When people asked me how I broke my shoulder I told them the story of how I was walking through Central Park and I saw a group of bikers harassing a young woman. I was watching them as I walked for a minute or two before I realized that, no matter how many of them there were, I just couldn’t let that stand. I had to DO something. Having come to this decision I tripped and fell and broke my shoulder.
It wasn’t true, of course, but it got the desired laugh.
That’s funny, ArGee! I love good stories. ;o])
I’m in dis jungle of leafs an you can’t see me!
Good morning.
The boxes came, evidently as I was getting ready for bed, because I thought I’d check, just to see, and there they were! No knock, no doorbell.
The best thing is the box that they came in will hold some of my paintings, so I don’t have to buy any containers for them. I haven’t boxed them before because the move wasn’t that far, but this time, I think they need to be.
Anyway, today I’ll know whether to order more (I think 10 more) or not. They box they come in will be used, just like this one!
I dreamed about Charlie and his taxes last night. It was the second time for the combination. It’s even stranger when one thinks that Charlie doesn’t file income tax. This time, it was clearer (closer) than the last time, so I think it’s good news.
Good morning. Don’t step on invisible kitteh!
I made sure the windows were shut last night, so it’s less cold this morning. Jake was out all night.
I need to call the vet when they open and make an appointment for them to check Shannon’s thyroid levels and refill her prescription.
So how is Shannon doing? Besides the arthritis, of course. ;o]
It rained almost all night from what I saw this morning when I went out to get the iHerb order. It was raining when I brought in the boxes from U-Haul yesterday, and it didn’t look as if it had let up at all. It was (is) a soft rain, so I didn’t hear it. But we need it so no complaints. Besides the usual whiney ones.
