I was a little surprised to learn about the level of deer population and hunting in Germany. I guess it’s like Pennsylvania ... restored forest land and wild herbivore population.

I was worried about her, what with her other health problems.
It was 29° when I went over to wash clothes, but at least the wind has died. How long that will last is anyone’s guess. The barometer says it will be sunny today. The Fitz says more wind is on the way.
She’s been fine. Next Monday will officially be 3 months without a seizure. Yesterday she managed to eat an entire (smallish) rawhide in an hour or so, which surprised Mrs. ArGee no end. I hope it doesn’t upset her digestive system.
It was 37 this morning when I walked the puppy. I don’t know if spring is on the way or if we have more cold coming. I’d almost rather not look.
I agree: I’m not going to look!
When I was studying to be a vet tech, we were taught that rawhide chews had a tendency to block or perforate the intestinal walls, but maybe they changed their minds on that, since medicine is an inexact science. It’s obvious to me that the puppies like the flavor and texture. I hope she has no problems with it for sure.
There are definitely green things on the trees at the library, though there is still snow on Pine Valley Mountain.
I’m just very tired of being cold.

Jake was out all night, a development long overdue. Conveniently, he came in and went to bed before the rain started again.
They are recommended for supervised chewing. Mrs. ArGee just thought she had a little more time before paying that close attention.
The pup is big, the chew was small, so hopefully it will all work out.

Congratulations on less layers! I seem to be wearing more, these days. Especially Mondays, when I’m out so early.

And ... the puppy is in heat. And we didn’t have any puppy diapers already handy. So far there hasn’t been much getting past her diligent licking.

I’m back. I talked to our music director about where we were regarding Covid restrictions, and he said, “I’m just so over this ****. Do what ever you want but try not to be too dramatic about it!”
I think that means we could have all our choir ladies except the very elderly.
I think the entire country is feeling the same way!
I noticed half the people in church yesterday were wearing their masks wrong, some just had it over their ears as a token of obedience.
Six months from now, the signs will still be up but the masks will be mostly left elsewhere, to be produced if questioned.
One habit I picked up while in NYC was to sneeze into my elbow or my shoulder instead of my hand. I will pull my jacket open if possible. That reduces the germs that get spread by sneezing and using that same hand to grab a subway pole.
I have kept that habit. I think the masks can all go and people can learn to sneeze into their elbows or shoulders. Some people will still get COVID, but that will be true forever.
I sneeze into my arm if possible.
Honestly, it seems like the subway would be a good place to continue using a mask. Out in the woods, not so much.
