Some of the more recent coffee makers make the coffee taste burned no matter what you do, pinch of salt or no.
They overheat the coffee.
Sad.

“Spirit of the staircase.” “I wish I’d said ...!”
We can make one out of construction paper and put it in the window.

My in-laws could get vaccinated now - starting yesterday people over 75 are allowed in NY. But I’m not sure how they would go about it. There’s been nothing in the news.
I still get emails from NYC and I saw their setup is to make an appointment on-line. But then I read how that system works and I bet nobody over 75 gets a vaccination in NYC. Too much computer ability required.

So, my mind goes waaaaaaaaaaaaay back to when the Enterprise was stuck in some space because Captain Kirk wasn’t in the same space and they were waiting for him to come back. In any event, something about this little corner of the galaxy was driving the crew mad and Dr. McCoy (who could have cured COVID-19 in 20 minutes or less) came up with a drink that was a toned-down nerve agent to keep the crew from going nuts.
Scotty: Does it make a good mix with scotch?
Dr. McCoy: I don’t know why not.
Scotty: (Grabbing the flask and heading for the door) I’ll let you know.
So, with all that backstory, does it make a good mix with scotch?

Here, you fill out a form at the county’s website, and they email or phone when your number comes up.
Following my nap, I feel about the same as before my nap, only less sleepy.

Good morning. How are you today? I have a bit of a stuffy head and no sense of smell ;-).
Looking on the bright side, there’s no point in drinking wine if I can’t smell anything, so I’ll be a shadow of my former self if this lasts very long.

Good morning.
The shower has been had. I used coconut oil on my hair overnight again, and the amount of curl this morning is amazing! If I could just remember to do it every week.
Yesterday began a new tea cycle, and among other things, it seems to be the only way I can keep the knots in my palms from growing. The tea is so nasty that I go through almost an entire bottle of Walmart’s honey during the cycle. Right now, I’m checking to see how much extra water I use, fixing the tea twice a day. blah-blah-blah
I almost deleted the above paragraph, but then I realized that life alone has an awful of of drawbacks when it comes to socializing...
Welcome to Fungitown.
