Thanks! I checked with UHaul and other places online and here in town and they all said to drop the driveline. I don’t want to mess with that if I don’t have to. The Tracker isn’t heavy or big, and what’s important is that I get it the 1600+ miles without breaking it. So I’ll do whatever is the best for it to reach the destination safely.

I got an Amber Alert and couldn’t go back to sleep. *sigh* I’ve been up since shortly after midnight.

Nine kittens in the basket. Sounds like fun, eh? Shannon has found a cricket.

Jake found the cricket, too. It went into the shoe closet. Now Jake is staring at the door, waiting for it to come back.

I saw a black widow yesterday morning but by the time I had gotten the spray, it was gone. There have been so many insects this year, so many more than the year before. I really don’t want to take any of them with me!

My printer is acting up (as if I didn’t know it) and doesn’t want to print from Tray 1. I even went in and tried to change the Tray setting but it defaulted to Tray 2. I’ll have to do it from the computer, I think. It’s certainly not working on “Automatic.”

It’s Trash Day here. Vlad just appeared to be the “take out the trash” person. James and Pat will get other assignments. *snicker*

Tom came by last night, had supper, played some games, and took home “Japanese Home Cooking.” I hope he has fun with it.

Right now, I’m going to shut this down and head out for Walmart.

It appears we have made it to Tuesday. Happy Tuesday, everyone.

Not much news here. Just plowing through another year of work as things get back to normal after the holidays.

We got an email from the county water system reminding us about “winter weather precautions.” Unnngh.

The only email I get from the local government is the monthly power bill. Which I’m ignoring big time, and using a lot of energy baking, so I can use up as much of the grant as possible. The mixer has been shipped, so I’ll have time to use it before the move.

I was going to make bread today, but I think I can’t concentrate on getting the ingredients measured correctly or even get the right ones, even though I read the recipe. It’s just better if I don’t try to do anything more complicated than sitting. And maybe packing something if the urge strikes me. Maybe.

I could only get a week’s worth of morphine because new insurance company.

So I have to go back to the clinic next week and get a new prescription for the rest, because the government watchdogs are worried about lawsuits/addictions/etc.

The dentist had a cancellation, and Frank was able to get his teeth cleaned. Maybe another awful-toothed brother can go soon.

Next, I’ll take Pat to work. James and Vlad want to go to Walmart, too.
