We have held high security clearances in the military and defense industry, where we had to have absolutely NO adverse information about ourselves OR our families.
Even travel outside the US by family members had to be pre-approved.
Any misconduct, even a traffic fine over a certain amount, would affect our reputations.
Background checks were done that went back all the way back to high school; everything that happened in our lives was scrutinized.
So, we are d@mned concerned that a foreign-paid-off, blackmailable pedophile could have the highest office in the land.
