One logical possibility might be that POTUS has ordered that a higher level task force has authority & is walking out the planned justice in their own way & timing.

Well, the fibs are the highest level of law enforcement in the U.S. I see the schedule of releases before the election but I'm doubting that cp is part of it.

I just do not believe it functions anywhere near that level currently. I think there are lots of reasons POTUS might have established a task force above them. Of course, I’m just guessing on the sidelines.
