MCCONNELL: "We'll be voting to confirm Justice-to-be Barrett next Monday." pic.twitter.com/vvhtxGfoSo— Breaking911 (@Breaking911) October 20, 2020
Last time with Kavanaugh, the dems pulled some procedural trick that bought them an extra 3 days on the Senate floor. They were trying to come up with more fraudulent accusations, and hoping to get more RINOs to go along with an FBI investigation. Is that trick not an option this time? As I recall, it was something like the dems were filibustering, the Reps invoked cloture, and that required 72 hours of debate or something like that. So McConnell kept the debate going non stop and then moved it to a vote.
