Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are endorsing Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, with the singer saying she doesn't want her kids to learn that it's "OK to be racist" from President Trump's administration.
"For me, it's unifying the nation again, getting rid of this hate," Lopez said in a chat with the former vice president and his wife, Jill Biden, tweeted Friday by the Democratic presidential nominee.
"Thinking about my kids walking around in a world where you know it's OK to be racist or prejudiced because our administration says it's OK," the actress and "Ain't Your Mama" singer added. "That, to me, is really sad because it's not the country I believe I grew up in."
Former New York Yankees baseball player Rodriguez, who's engaged to Lopez, shared a message in Spanish that he said was aimed at Latino voters in Florida: "Jennifer and I are very happy to go to the ballot and vote this year. It is very important because our community needs help more than ever."
