This thread is bringing a tear to my eye. That or the scotch. I came here an unwashed trendy looking for only one thing: the truth. To this day, that has not has changed. And this is one of the few sites that delivers.

So many names I've seen for so many years, and whose insights and observations I've absorbed to wrangle with, and to use as a striking stone to evolve my own views and ideals. People so influential on so many lives, and who probably don't know - or more likely - would never presume to be as influential as they really are.
