Interesting take on it. Maybe that IS why Joe has done so few appearances. In addition to his fragility, he is fighting his handlers about being exposed out in the open. Public arrest would be the end.

Regardless of whether Hunter has flipped, he has broken several laws at least and needs to be in prison. Trump taunts Hunter, reminding us of his disgraced life. If anything, maybe he flipped for a better prison sentence.
But right now... I’m not sure if the DOJ is up to the job. Too many delays.
