I loved David Crosby for what he did on Long Time Gone and Cowboy Movie

He was without question the pied piper of the freak movement west coast era from 68-75

Especially at the Woodstock apex as CSN

All that was my era like many here and I related to what they were singing

Problem is he never grew up from it

He had tragedy early on and made loads of self inflicted injuries

It’s just pitiful

I mean Graham Nash

If you know Nash all your life ....and at the end of it Graham doesn’t want to have anything to do with you.....

Then you must be a first rate dick.....

Graham is a gentleman

Do yourself a favor listen to The Hollies anthology

Vastly underrated vocals from Graham and Allen Clarke and Hicks on guitar

Bus Stop....man those were great days of youth......love grows under my umbrellla

Anyone else remember that ....

Still sounds current to me...timeless pop classics.

I remember those early Hollies tunes, although the later Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress is even more to my liking. That one was after Graham Nash left.

Crosby had a tremendous voice as one of the original Byrds, but they got tired of him and booted him for being a jerk. I knew some UC Irvine coeds who knew Crosby socially, and their opinion was that he was a complete asshole. That’s basically a direct quote.
