I live in Connecticut and it's the exact same. The older expensive houses in the town centers are crammed with Biden signs and all the other virtue signaling "hate has no home here" type signs. Of course, if you ever rang their doorbell and identified yourself as a volunteer for the Trump campaign, you would quickly discover that hate lives there after all. I think you are correct that these are upper-middle-class women who feel guilty for what their men have provided them and feel that they are "down with the movement" by putting out BLM signs and whatnot.

Now go into the side roads and out to the farms, and you will see American flags and many Trump signs but they will be well into the yards or even up against the houses. That's because Democrat operatives will go around at night stealing them if they are put up by the roadside. Catching them on camera will do nothing. Local authorities couldn't be bothered.

I believe you are correct about the Dem operatives going around and stealing Trump signs. They left my Gerry Griffin(state Rep)sign alone.

However, the prosecution of theft of political signs is actually up to your local chief of police and town prosecutor. I actually know both of them. I believe IF I could catch the person and they could be identified that I would press charges. The chief of police would swear out a warrant. Even if it is only a misdemeanor. It all depends on the town you live in I suppose.

I believe you are also correct about the type of person who wants to own one of those old houses in the “village”.
You could not give me one of those old 1700-1800 houses. They are all money pits. My 1972 vintage house is bad enough. Liberal Women & men love to live in the idealic New England village with the white steepled church and houses all packed together. Conservatives want to live farther out in the country where someone is not looking into your backyard. Hence, I live on 12 acres 1 1/2 miles from the center of town.
