I think you are mixing up your Cesars. Cedeno was with Morgan in Houston when Morgan was traded to the Reds and was still with Houston when Morgan went back as a free agent. Cesar Geronimo was with the Big Red Machine teams (and came to the Reds in the same trade as Morgan.)
Cedeno did spend a couple of years with the Reds after Morgan was gone.
