All players whom I admired as a boy. I still have their Strat-O-Matic cards. I pulled out my old set to play with my nephew when he dropped by for a visit this summer.
He was fascinated with how kids played before there were computers.

I was a SOM player myself in the late 60s, early 70s. We used to toss all the various card sets (seasons, past seasons, HOF, etc) into one big pile and draft multiple teams each. All-time greats along with our present-day (at the time) favorites. It was a fun (albeit not very accurate) way to learn about past baseball greats.

Strat-O was the best. We had a huge league in our neighborhood. We played all year long.
