It seems to me that, on twitter, if you find a tweet you agree with and retweet it you are less likely to be banned for it. If you composed the tweet yourself, you are more likely to be banned. Also, avoid their verboten topics but talk around the verboten topics. Using the Socratic method of asking questions is safer.
But nothing is 100% safe from the Ministry of Truth.
