C-SPAN said Friday that its political editor Steve Scully, set to moderate the now-scrapped second presidential debate, didn’t initiate a questionable Twitter exchange with Anthony Scaramucci and that Scully’s account apparently was hacked.

Right, sure. Scully seems to have a history of having his account "hacked". We already know he's a former Biden intern and should never have been appointed a moderator in the first place. The current debate infrastructure is a disgrace and needs to be scrapped.

Couldn’t agree more. Moderators aren’t really needed, Lincoln and Douglas didn’t need one, and it would be great theater.

But if there must be one, let both sides submit nominations and select equal numbers from each side by a random draw and change them every 10 minutes
