I had a friend who remembered being on one of those harnesses and he said it gave him a great sense of security knowing that mom or dad was at the other end.
I thought the harnesses were foolish when I first saw them years back. However, I must say that I was wrong and they do serve a very useful service, especially when you have pedo’s and kidnappers around in today’s world.
