If you look very closely at the watch, there are two white marks at opposite sides of the face. Im thinking that was 12 and 6. He wears it on his inner wrist, so imagine how he has to move his arm to read his watch. If you hold your inner wrist up to look at it, the white marks would be at 12 and six, and the hands would then be 10:10.
In that picture the white mark to the left is 12, the mark to the right is 6. To read the watch his thumb would be up.
