HAHAHA! Same here. 1980 was the only time I voted “for” a presidential candidate. And notice I didn’t include 1984. My feelings and thoughts about trump after his first term are completely the opposite of Reagan. Well, mostly. Reagan was still better than most, but he had dropped a few notches for me.
I voted for ex-quarterback Jack Kemp in the 1980 primary.
Reagan was a fallback.
