I understand. Sports scholarships and parents talking about them is like a junior version of stolen valor.
I used to spend a lot of time with coaches AND a lot of time with administrators.
The whole scholarship thing at D2 and D3 schools is often presented in a very muddy light. There are a lot of ego issues, pride issues, and financial aid issues that the normal outsider lumps into a single scholarship bucket.
And moving from school to school brings up things like red shirting and mandatory time off. The rules are all very complicated. Boring. And not really relevant.
All I am saying is, its tough for people with first hand knowledge to track. Second and third hand, passing knowledge is always conflated. I easy to not be able to follow it.
“Im curious about how many registered Democrats, in total, end up voting for Donald Trump, on November 3rd? Im going to guess a lot.”
That’s something to think about.
What do we have here, though? Do we have two comparable statesmen, either of whom could be preferred by thoughtful, intelligent, sane people? How much thought is required to reject a senile clown like Biden?
If a demonrat votes for Trump, I would be reluctant to take that as an indication that he is a thinking man. I would go as far as to admit that he’s not as stupid and evil as some other demonrats, but that choice is really a no-brainer.
They were on my thread, I wasn’t on theirs. But I just finally thought, Why are we friends? I don’t remember anymore.
Same here. So true.
Thanks for posting this.
I have an idiot liberal friend from grammar school, although I unfriended her on FB she reached out to me and wanted to be friends via messenger.....I don’t understand her thinking she has her own business and posts BLM on her FB yet they would burn her business to the ground if they could....I’m glad we keep in touch just no politics....
Good luck getting an undecided moron to read that at this point.
Such folks are too stupid lacking the ability to even focus long enough to read more than even the shortest text message.

If you treat them like they're mentally ill, brainwashed, emotionally and intellectually stunted, or just plain corrupt, you won't be disappointed. Hoping for anything else of them is just an Unreasonable Expectation.
While they may someday seek Sanity, Logic, and Reason, don't hold your breath. Life's too short to waste it on them.
I had friends that are democrats.
I’ve dumped several people over their harangues concerning President Trump.
Why is it sooo difficult to understand that President Trump is NOT a bought and paid for politician.

I used to have friends who were democrats but no more. I cannot see maintaining a friendship with a person who would vote for a politician who keeps voting to kill babies. Those people are vile. There was a time when democrats were normal people. No more! Back before they made abortion a plank in their platform, democrats were simply on the other side of the table. Now a person who could vote for baby-killers is no friend of mine. I will be civil with them but that is all.
“Ive never met a rational person that is voting for biden.”
me neither ...
“Anyone who is still a Democrat in 2020 is in reality either a Communist or a Communist Enabler.”
i tend to agree ...
That is surely true but rather than expressing concern why not see if you feel the issues have merit.
How about the division of America. Do you really blame Trump for that?
A politician who is only beholding to voters is unfamiliar and almost impossible to believe by many voters. I find it refreshing to discover the Constitution still has a chance to succeed.
>>>I have good friends and relatives who are Democrats. They are fine people, just very misguided<<<
There isn’t a Democrat alive that wouldn’t relish the thought of helping load us Irredeemable Deplorables into Cattle Cars destined for the O’Biden Reeducation Camps without fear of retribution. Not a one.
Once you know that Truth, calling them misguided isn’t the word that comes to mind.
Agreed!
When real Democrats and Republicans were running our country; we didn't hate each other.
We didn't vote for parties. We voted for ideas that came from both parties that made us better as a country.
We didn't label ideas or parties as racist, sexist or un-American.
We did what we thought was best for We The People.
And accepted the winner as a united country.
