There’s no way to win with that question. It’s likely she descended from a slave owner because he raped a slave. Whoever brings it up looks like an ass and she gets the sympathy points.
Not true. It is a well documented fact that her (?)grandfather owned a number of slaves and had, I think, more than one property.
Anyway, what does it matter? If she was a Republican she would be burned at the stake. For Pete's sake, her voters are pulling down statues of slave owners!
