There's no chance Biden loses CA. It's winner take all, so Biden gets 55 EV's whether he wins with 70 or 80 percent of the CA total.
So how does Kanye "hurt" him?

If Kanye West can peel off 5% of the CA vote, that might be enough all by itself to make Trump the winner in the overall vote total, as well as the electoral vote total.
