Amen.
My wife and I have been through hell over the past year with some health issues on her side.
Money doesnt matter. Work doesnt matter.
Making each other laugh and being there matters.
Over the past ten years, Ive been the primary caregiver to six relatives. On their death beds, they dont give a shit about anything but laughing and the kids.
Ive seen it too many times, and its changed my life.
If I can make my wife life during six months of chemo, that did more than any narcotic. And the health professionals found it easier to deal with as well.
Being worried about any of this other stuff is minor. Political matterson a scale of 1-10 is about a 3. Its akin to a fun hobby with like minded people.
I spent 12 hours in a surgical waiting room yesterday, reading about the Trump/Covid stuff. It was a nice distraction. But it had no bearing on my day, whatsoever.
Keep laughing. Keep being there. Dont sweat the crap.
And keep riding.
Well said..................................
You are so right. You have seen a lot of grief. God bless you for your positive attitude. Loving well those God gives us and being thankful for all He has done is the bottom line. You do well.
