SNOW WHITE’S GRAVESTONE
I know this is from last year Aug 2019 but thought it weird and interesting enough to mention after I read some on twitter discussing it and cats are curious to the point of needing 9 lives to survive falling into grim storied rabbit holes.
What real bits struck me strange
-strange it made news in 2019 since research was in 80’s
-her father owned mirror factory
-children worked in Lohr mine (children-minors/miners)
-She went blind at age 71/17 mirrored

‘Snow White’ gravestone on show in German museum
Excerpts from link
“There are indications - though we cannot prove it for sure - that Sophia was the model for Snow White. Today when you make a film about a historic person there is also fiction in it. So in this case I think there is a historic basis, but there are also fictional elements.”
In the 1980s a local historian in Lohr, Dr Karlheinz Bartels, researched parallels between Sophia’s life and the fairy tale, called Schneewittchen in German:
Sophia’s father, a nobleman called Philipp Christoph von Erthal, remarried after his first wife’s death, and Sophia’s stepmother had the reputation of being domineering and acting in favour of her natural children
Lohr was a famous centre for glassware and mirrors. Sophia’s father owned the mirror factory, and a museum in Lohr today proudly displays one of those mirrors with the inscription: “Amour propre” (French for “pride”)
A scary forest features in the tale, and a forest near Lohr was notorious for robbers and dangerous wild animals
Snow White ran over seven hills before reaching the cottage inhabited by the seven dwarfs, who toiled in a mine; and a mine outside Lohr, now disused, can be reached by crossing seven hills
Dwarfs and/or children did indeed work in the mine, and wore cloaks as protection against falling stones and dirt.

Damn it, now I have fallen down a hole filled with mirrors!
Turned on the Nuse media and 45 has got them losing their sh*t.
Worth the price of a ticket to this movie.
That is quite an interesting hole you fell into.
