Since the debate moderators don’t rely on their supposed “vast knowledge of news” to correct any facts or lack there of, why do we need anchors? Basically they just read the question & interrupt.
There is no special skill set involved. Any plumber, truck driver or referee could do it. So why is it imperative that a news anchor be involved?
