No, induction requires multiple turns of wire to be run around the area the receiver will be in, and powerful amplifiers. Very limited range and requires installation in advance, like hidden under the floor or in the ceiling. The only use I’ve seen for it is in language labs in schools built back then. The vacuum tube amps used would bring a fortune on eBay today.

Whoever was asking about the Savox inductive loop, that is a loop that runs around the neck to couple audio to earpiece so there is no visible wire running to it. As I said, very limited range and would be detectable. But don’t let me spoil the fun.

There are battery operated fm transmitters and inductive neckloops used for hearing aids; I use the set for meetings.

The range is sufficient for an area such as the Trump vs Biden debate stage.
