Trump’s best use of debate time was to needle Biden. Many don’t comprehend strategy, but by constantly rabbit-punching he kept Biden rattled and unable to concentrate. His handlers taught him how to focus on breathing and thinking of the next question but Trump thwarted his prep and forced him to go off script. I think the tell is there is nobody in Mockingbird media saying that Biden won the debate - it’s all a bunch of handwringing about how terrible it was it was verbally combative. The story line going in was Biden would, of course, win the debate... they even mistakenly published one of those articles ala “POTUS on defense” or something but I’ve seen no headlines to that effect today.
