I do realize this is from the loathed Brian Cates, but tossing it out there and hoping that evidence will be found either supporting or disproving this. I did search but all results are government documents which make my eyes cross.

Just pointing out that the CIA Director can give input but cannot BLOCK the ODNI from declassifying anything and Trump already gave full declassification authority to AG William Barr, something a lot of pundits ignore or don't remember.

Legally correct perhaps, but from a practical standpoint, they can drag their feet, “we cant find it” “the dog ate it” “it will take us 1000 years to redact it properly”

Maybe that’s what’s going on
