BTW, something I’ve noticed over the last few weeks while driving around NYS (since residents who can’t self-quarantine for 2 weeks after can go anywhere else):
You see homes with American flags.
You see homes with US flags and Trump signage.
You see fewer homes with BiteMe signage.
But interestingly...I have yet to see a home with BiteMe signage flying the American flag.
Not one.

I’m in Orange County, CA (Yorba Linda,, actually, where they had a confrontation with BLM last night - can’t believe they would come to YL) and have noticed the same thing! American flags flying in neighborhoods like I’ve never seen on the 4th of July or Memorial Day....lots and lots flying Trump and American flags, but I’ve seen ONE house with a Biden yard sign, that also had a sort of virtue signaling version of the flag with lines like “black live matter” in the stripes, and ONE house with a Biden flag, that flew some other non-American flag on their flagpole. In this area, it takes guts to fly a Trump flag, but I take all the American flags as code for a Trump flag :)
we have a black veteran neighbor who flies the flag and has a Biden sign. so it’s not 100%, but i think the flag flying = Trump support.
I am inclined to believe that such homes are for Trump voters.
In the wealthy SF Bay Area suburb I passed through recently, I saw a few homes flying the flag. One, though, had the flag displayed upside down (distress). No yard signs on these houses.
I live in Southern Connecticut and that's my barometer as well.
I'm seeing way more homes flying American flags than is usual. I'm counting those as "silent" Trump voters. For I can't see any scenario where a Biden voter will fly an American flag and where I do see Biden signs - no American flag.
I live on Long Island too and to date I have seen exactly four Biden signs - 2 on LI and 2 while on vacation upstate a couple weeks back. Meanwhile I’ve seen more than four pickup trucks with full size Trump flags in the back...
