The Quaid brothers’ dad, Buddy, was an occasional customer of my neighborhood bar in southwest Houston. He usually attended the Halloween parties as W. C. Fields. His wake was held there. Both the brothers were in attendance along with Meg Ryan. Dennis never left her side. Randy glad handed everyone. Buddy’s mother from Louisiana played a mean piano at an advanced age.
