Just for grins, I created a new model from Sept 1. The Old "New Linear Model" was based upon the plateau in new cases after the northern crest had substantially subsided. It was violated when the Southern crest hit, and now we are in a period of massive FALSE POSITIVE TESTING as indicated by the continued low death rates ... even though these too are inflated.
BUT, the purpose of these very simple (LINEAR) models, in my mind, is to detect changes in the trend or pattern. So we'll see where it goes from here.
Incidentally, the deaths today were 276, which is the lowest since first week of July. Sunday is usually low count of deaths, but this is still good news, and further DEBUNKS the so-called New Cases, including the Southern Crest which should still be impacting deaths.

Regarding false positives...my ashoe governor (Evers-D-Hell) used false positives/multi co-morbidity “CV19” deaths, to extend his illegal unAmerican mask mandate another 60 days until freakin’ Thanksgiving. His nickname in 2 years when he will be voted out will be One Term Evers.
