As someone else posted, they probably were going to write “former vice president” and changed it, but left the former in. Not very likely that CNN is in on a plan to replace Biden, and not believable that Democrats would try it at this stage. It’s just too late. Ballots are already being mailed in. Replacing Biden would make them void. It’s also too late to get someone else’s name on the ballots in most states.

A nothing burger, IMO.

I am shocked that they are going ahead with the debate. They must have confidence in the drugs Biden is taking.
