Clearly, they are not all filing suit in two weeks, without a major coordination effort. I can’t think of anyone big enough, and interested enough, to make that happen - except for the communist Party of China.
Those companies have an economic interest in keeping their low cost China sourcing (including slave labor), as well as maintaining access to sell in China - but the ChiComs themselves would have had to herd them together, to get all this to happen, right before the election.
I think it probably has more to do with trying to deter massive new tariffs after the election (if President Trump is elected), than to effect the election itself.
The ChiComs need to pull out all the stops to prevent what is coming in a second Trump term - an effective takedown of the Chinese economy.
The package of additional new tariffs for the whole second half of Chinese exports to the USA, are all ready to drop with a stroke of the President’s pen, and they will hit the electronics industry hard.
Combined with some other major moves that are also already in the works, like ending the convertibility of the Hong Kong Dollar, the wheels are likely to come off their fraud-filled economy, in an epic way - if they cannot forestall President Trump’s actions after re-election.
