The bear tunneled under the zoo’s perimeter fence and broke through the cedar split rail fence around the enclosure before killing Caesar, according to the zoo’s executive director, Pat Lampi.

Caesar was 16 and had been at the zoo for 15 years, Lampi said. He was popular with zoo visitors. “He would walk up towards people and interact and sometimes spit on them if they upset him, but that’s what members of the camel family do,” he said.

This is one crazy story!

Year’s back at the near by university experimental farm they were raising sheep.

They brought a pure breed ram from France. Wasn’t long after a black bear broke into the barn went by all the other sheep and killed that ram.

The ram was replace by another of the same breed.

A bear broke in again and killed the 2nd ram.

The bear must of had a taste for French sheep.
