“They can be removed via impeachment. Let’s not be Harry Reid.”

That has never happened and never will, You will never get a majority of the House and 2/3rds of the Senate to do it.

Functionally SCOTUS is beyond accountability and that needs to change.

Let them be removed by the same method they are selected just like Congress and the President.

SCOTUS rules the land as things stand now and they often backstab us after getting their seat.

The founders never intended us to be ruled by 9 unaccountable dictators.

Then every election causes the laws to be changed should a party take the Presidency and the Senate and finds the SC not to their liking.

The founders never intended us to be ruled by 9 unaccountable dictators.

That's why you can impeach them. Also impeachment isn't always necessary. Abe Fortas. Other Fed judges have been removed.

Only Congress has the authority to remove an Article III judge. This is done through a vote of impeachment by the House and a trial and conviction by the Senate. As of September 2017, only 15 federal judges have been impeached, and only eight have been convicted.

No the Founders hoped we would be smarter, but just like the Electoral College, you have to amend the Constitution to get that kind of nightmare judiciary.
