I was harassed at my local Giant Foods store on Saturday becuase my nose was ‘exposed’. I was in the store for barely 5 minutes, when a blowhard customer (in his 70s, white male) approached ME to tell me to pull up my mask because my “nose is exposed”. I proceeded to tell him: “Mind your own business! Stay 6-feet away from me and you’ll be okay!” His wife was near him and she seemed to be egging him on, so he kept saying things like: “You’re going to get everyone sick!”, to which I replied, even louder: “Sir, stay 6-feet away from me and worry about your own mask. Go F*ck Off Now & mind your own f*cking business!”

At this point, a crowd had gathered. Many were wondering what was going on since I technically had a mask on. The asshole kept mumbling the same stuff over & over and I told him to “F*ck Off!” twice while moving to another aisle. The man proceeded to FOLLOW ME TO EVERY AISLE IN THE STORE. I did not feel the need to call management to let them know of this harassment as I thought I had already “neutralized” the motherf*cker & was in no way intimidated by him. He mumbled something to me in the coffee aisle, to which I told him to stay 6-feet away from me. I also told him to “F*ck Off!” again so loudly that the Pepsi guy came over to the aisle from the next one to see what was going on. I told him that everything’s cool - just a blowhard talking about my mask. The Pepsi guy was laughing his ass off & shaking his head.

In the meat section, I saw him hiding behind a display, and I was wondering if he was getting ready to take a photo of me, but his hands were empty. I did have my coffee mug with me and, while he was looking, I TOOK OFF MY ENTIRE MASK AND ENJOYED 3 HUGE GULPS OF COFFEE IN FRONT OF HIM. This sent him over the edge. He sprinted up the aisle, and I thought he was going to complain to management (at this point, I was “guns blazing” and didn’t give a shit), so I got ready for that prospect. Nothing happened, but the bum followed me to the frozen foods section all the way to the cash register. There, he hid in an aisle and came up through another side. I saw his maneuver and waved at him profusely saying: “Hi, I’m still here! Have a great day!”, while pulling down my mask to get another huge gulp of coffee.

I told the lady at the cash register (whom I’ve known for 15 years) and she was mortified. She asked me to speak to the manager, which I did. Giant Management says that no customers should approach other customers about their masks & that it was wrong of him to approach me. I walked to the parking lot thinking that this man probably makes it his mission in life to harass people. I only wish I would’ve been able to say: “TRUMP 2020, BITCHES!!”

That is an awful story-just awful!

Under normal circumstances, one would conclude that man was mentally ill.

But these aren't normal circumstances.

While I reserve the option that those people may simply be scared out of their wits, what is more likely is that man and his wife, are, in all likelihood, Leftists. And that explains it all.

They think that because they feel they are somehow on the side of "the greater good", they are empowered and justified to act out in whatever fashion they wish.

And that mindset is a real danger to our Republic. Fortunately, we have Americans who at this point, like you...won't stand for it.

But decades of indoctrination of young people puts that resistance to tyranny in peril.

As Montesquieu said: "The harshest tyranny is that which acts under the protection of legality and the banner of justice."

Probably even more meaningful under the current circumstances is this quote by C.S. Lewis:

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
