Holy Excrement! TAYLOR LOST in 2018! I didn’t research enough-my bad. Since he’s a loser there’s no reason to put him back in. What it means is that the Va.-2 electors can’t come up with a winnable candidate. Another giveaway

....”Virginia’s second congressional district is a U.S. congressional district in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It currently encompasses all of Accomack, Northampton and York counties, all of the cities of Virginia Beach and Williamsburg and parts of the cities of Norfolk and Hampton, although its boundaries changed greatly over the centuries.”

I am quite familiar with that area - a stark mix of very rural and heavily metropolitan (numerous Democrats lurk in those latter areas...)..Va. Beach, Norfolk and the Williamsburg areas are quite liberal, if I recall...while the rest of the district is quite rural...good luck Mr. Taylor!!

He lost in 2018 for a variety of reasons, possibly the biggest is the shenanigans his campaign chair ran with fake/forged signatures on an attempt to get a third-party candidate on the ballot to siphon votes from Luria. They got caught and the investigations and indictments aren't done. He hasn't been exonerated in the scheme.

As far as the others who were running against him in the primary, most had little to no name recognition and due to covid-19 the usual canvasing and signage didn't occur.
