We don't disagree.

I merely hold man's version of meaning, which is a cognitive illusion, below the purpose of God. And I am not deep enough to even speak of God's meaning. Therefore, at an ontological level, life is empty and meaningless.

And THAT doesn't mean anything.

It's actually an affirmation of God and a humbling of men's understandings and aims :-)

Another way of expressing this is "Look at the cat, he doesn't wonder what his job is, he already knows his job."

If you have a dog, that will work just as well.

You can also go ask a tree what his job it. He knows, and he will answer.

But you will resist the answer. You will even claim no answer came.
