I disagree with your statement that “Kelly’s ads are portraying him as somebody he isn’t: John McCain Jr.” Both were in the military, both are/were jerks when dealing with ordinary citizens (experienced McCain’s attitude the only time I saw him in person), both are/were liberal. McCain lacked ethics (McCain:Keating Five, taking free rides in his wife’s business plane, Kelly: lying in an attempt to purchase a gun for anti-gun propaganda, taking $15 million in business funding from Tucson for a business that mostly shut down within 4 weeks). Don’t know whether Kelly cheated on his wife, though. From a reliable source, McCain cheated on his first wife while she was dying. And Kelly is not a carpet bagger. McCain moved to AZ and immediately ran for Congress in the early 1980s. (Some of us have long memories...)
