I give Ginsburg no credit as a jurist. She was a political activist who had no respect for the Constitution, legal precedent, the rule of law, or the law abiding citizens of America. She aided and abetted the undermining of the Executive when a Republican was in the White House, and turned a blind eye to the unconstitutional overreach by Clinton and Obama. May God have mercy on her withered soul, but her departure from the USSC is a blessing.

I agree. The Lebanon civil war is a case in point. It began on 1975 with a drive-by shooting by muslims of a Christian Church in Beirut. Christians retaliated and things quickly retaliated, with the City being chopped up into zones of control. The conflict soon spread to the rest of the country.
One someone’s homes and families come under direct attack, the impulse for retribution quickly comes to the surface. There is no way to predict how things will unfold once the blood-lust is triggered. Those who think it can never happen in America don’t know history.
The speaker of the house should know we are a republic, not a democracy.
