Our rural town had one case, and we are now open for business for the last month.
School is half in class with distancing and half on line. The mayor instituted cheap wifi for 50 pesos a month (about a dollar). I am not sure how the poor afford it, but a lot have access to smart phones.
I am not sure what they are doing at the farm...but they often wear masks for harvest since the mechanical thresher produces chaff.
Manila is still pretty well shut down....they are begging for a vaccine. Everyone is scared here. Which is crazy, since more folks die from dengue fever than covid.
It gives legitimacy to the fraudsters here, I reckon.
America is the true target, of course. Other places are collateral damage.
