Don't think so. At the FReeper Texas Memorial Shoot a year ago, I sat down with Gunner and helped him clean his rifles. If you let Gunner smoke his cigarettes, drink his Busch beer and clean his rifles, he's happy as a clam.

That makes sense. It sounds like Little Marco had come to expect the shave, makeup and clothes pressing services the studio provided in the past. It was probably an unpleasant surprise to arrive ungroomed and then have to go on air that way. (teeheehee!)

Incidents like this are small and not terribly important in the scheme of things, except that they provide a bit of insight into the character of the individual. Marco had no pride in his personal appearance before stepping outside his residence, and he was keen or at least expecting to get several personal grooming services for free.

I recall my grandmother telling us that being poor was no excuse for being dirty or unkempt. Perhaps feeling entitled is sufficient excuse.
