40 years it was GOP. Istook, Fallin, Langford, were amongst those who held the seat. Democrats did their part in 18'. Kendra Horn is pretty easy on the eyes. Once again those things count. Time to take it back.

How did it happen? The same way it’s happening in other areas... much of the country is simply moving leftward.
GOP had to get rid of the deadwood and that’s what 2018 did, painful as it may have been.
The Party is transformed, under Trump, and it’s still a work-in-progress, but by 2022, the rebuild should be complete.

I agree.... there are still a couple of pubs that will not get my vote this election.... you do not have to choose the lesser of 2 evils..... when confronted with a bush league illegal immigrant backing pub, vote third party or write in yourself...
Steve Russell checked all the boxes. War hero. Throw in motivational speaker. Would not help privatize art traffic controllers. The school is in Ok.
18 was the first year for the Harvesting and it worked big.
Maybe the GOP needs a wake-up call, so many of them are RINOs or even anti-Trump. They deserve to lose, in that case.
Or maybe it’s vote harvesting as in California where Republican seats were flipped after the election when all the harvested votes were counted.
Or maybe it’s demographic changes.
The incumbent before Horn, Steve Russell, assumed he had it in the bank and did not campaign. He still had at least $300,000 in his campaign account the day of the election. Never called on anyone, made few appearances, and esentially let Horn out work him. I hope Stephanie Bice is not making the same mistake. I have not seen one commercial of hers, yet I see Horn commercials daily. Anyone is this district needs to raise holy hell with her to start campaigning...Horn is being funneled by outside interest with millions from Hollywood and Act Blue...
Russell leaned on all that you mentioned & then forgot to campaign for re-election, counting on the OK red voters to pull him over the finish line. In the meantime, Horn rounded up all her “Karen” voters and got them excited to turn out. Sometimes incumbents don’t have the power they think they have.

The candidates who are running in California to retake the seats lost in ‘18 are, in many cases, Trump-style MAGA people - not same-old-GOP. There are some exceptions, but even those pols will blow in the Trumpian wind if they think it will work.

Formerly Conservative Orange County CA went 5 for 5 DEMONcRAT in 2018.
It took two weeks after Election Day counting Votes for some of those Seats to turn, but here we are.
In the special election for Katie Hills seat we got the seat back, due to the virus the Dems could not harvest, college campuses closed, nursing homes closed we WON the seat back!!

Moved out of S. CA early last year so I haven’t kept up with the Local News there.
The Dems HUGE resource for ballot harvesting are college campuses BUT in CA they are CLOSED as are the nursing homes SO yes I think we can win them back folks in CA. have had ENOUGH of these lockdowns, rioting, protests, ect. The Dems CHEATED massively in 2018 but they have screwed themselves with the lockdowns their harvesting places are CLOSED!!!
