Sometimes more is better. I often lack patience.
I’m not sure a better plan was available given the state of courts across the nation. The only other plan I see was military take-over and all out civil war. That would involve more loss of property and life.
In retrospect, if we had begun overturning all known derps across the nation in ‘17 how would those optics have been for the vast ocean of uninformed civilians across the nation? That would have turned centrists and “independants” blue IMHO. Full disclosure, I think most who claim centrist and independent are too lazy and uninformed to figure out what they think. They react to what they hear.
It’s taken our nation over 100 years to arrive in this swamp. Kennedy tried a plan to overcome. Reagan tried. Eisenhower warned. I agree with you in anger that good innocent citizens should be protected. But seeing police demonized, with hands tied by politics, I can’t come up with an alternative plan myself in which no innocent is hurt. Innocents have been attacked all these past years. It’s just now that we seem to have a plan addressing the root.
War is here. It’s happening on US soil. Pretty sure there were wise people in past wars who saw it coming and were also sickened by the death and destruction on native soil. But until the wisdom of critical population mass is reached, those of us who understand are just viewed as crack pots or conspiracy nuts.
Sorry, not trying to be argumentative. I just don’t have a clue what alternative plan would work without a majority of stupid people rising up against those trying to clean house. Too many people just too lazy and stupid to understand reality. I’m cynical that way.

P.S. Today marks my husband’s and my 35th-wedding anniversary. The restaurant at the resort where we stayed for our one-night honeymoon was closed by the time we were ready for supper... The only food joint open within 20 miles was a pizza parlor. Hence, this evening, we’re going to the local brew pub for pizza to celebrate.
