Specifically the Portland FBI, but why can’t the DoJ of which the FBI is a part, get rid of the bad guys up there? I am really getting frustrated about this. WHen is this s*** going to stop?
I know everyone here shares your frustration, and concern for you and everyone else affected. I wish I knew the answer, maybe I’m really naive about how the government works, but if there was a similar crisis involving for-profit businesses, I guarantee the top executives would be involved and action would be taken. It is too crazy to think that AG Barr would pick up the phone or summon Chris Wray to his office and demand answers about the Portland FBI’s conduct and public statements? Another guarantee - the Wray equivalent would have swung by his house already to pick up the bag his wife hurriedly packed as he was on his way to the airport for the next flight to Portland.
As Harry Truman said, “the buck stops here” and we know where “here” is. It is time for President Trump to issue some damn orders.
